CemVision is looking for a Project Lead to help us achieve our strategic objectives, so that together we can make a substantial impact on reducing the global carbon footprint.
CemVision is a young company on a mission to decarbonize cement, one of the world’s most urgent climate challenges which accounts for 8% of global CO2 emissions. We’re currently on a journey to grow bigger, faster with the help of a highly motivated and experienced project manager with focus on managing projects within management. We are looking for a person who can provide valuable business insight as well as develop and implement strategies and solutions that will set us up for success.
🎯 About the role
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading projects together with cross-functional teams and driving results to ensure that our company achieves its strategic objectives. You will report to our COO and be a key member of our team.
Develop, implement and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against established milestones and deliverables.
Work together with cross-functional project teams, including subject matter experts, analysts, and stakeholders, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organisational goals and priorities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritise projects and initiatives, and ensure project alignment with organisational strategies and objectives.
Communicate project status and progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders, and facilitate decision-making and problem-solving as needed.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other project-related documents.
🌟 What do you need to succeed?
To be successful, you should have a ‘no-problem-too-big’ attitude and be highly resourceful. This means a lot of drive, an analytical mindset, and being motivated by collaborating with others and getting things done. You should also have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent project management and communication skills.
We think you have at least a bachelor in finance, economics, or a related field with +5 years of experience as a management consultant or similar experience with a track record of leading successful projects.
