Cemvision is looking for a Standards and Regulatory Specialist to support our commitment to lead the way in decarbonizing the cement industry.

We are on an exciting path of rapid growth, and we are therefore looking for more brilliant people to join our team. Cemvision is currently searching for a Standardization and Regulatory Specialist. A key role for our go to market strategy being responsible for ensuring successful product market introductions, while also advocating and establishing new standards for cement on the regulated European market. This includes amongst other developing efficient strategies and managing the complex journey of new standardization and certifications for our innovative and sustainable products. 🌟 About the role
In close collaboration with Marketing and R&D, you will be responsible for setting the roadmap and manage product certifications, including coordinating critical tasks such as pinpointing technical specs for specific applications, coordinating tests, compiling technical data, and establishing fundamental internal quality assurance processes to maintain alignment with the requisite standards. Additionally, you will have responsibility for overseeing audit procedures and related assignments.
Standardization Strategy Development: Driving a comprehensive regulatory strategy concerning new standards for ultra CO2 low cement products that align with the evolving regulatory landscape in the EU market.
Regulatory Compliance Management: Stay up-to-date with all relevant EU, national, and private certification requirements and ensure that Cemvision complies with these regulations at all times. This includes obtaining necessary certifications and approvals for product introductions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry experts, representing our company and ensuring our compliance efforts are recognized and acknowledged.
Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and maintain fundamental internal quality control processes, developing and implementing quality assurance and risk management protocols to guarantee product quality and consistency by each standard.
Audit Oversight: Overseeing audit procedures and related assignments, ensuring that the organization complies with relevant regulations and standards. This includes managing audit preparations, responses, and follow-up actions to address any identified issues or discrepancies.
Innovation and Sustainability Advocacy: Advocate for innovation and sustainability within the cement industry by actively participating in the development of new standards that promote environmental responsibility and product innovation.
🤩 What do you need to succeed?
Your role will be important for Cemvision’s continued growth and expansion across markets. As such you will collaborate extensively across functions. To be successful you should possess an unwavering "can-do" attitude and have plenty of resourcefulness. This means a lot of drive, an analytical mindset, being highly motivated and organized. You have a degree in engineering or equivalent job-related experience.
We also think you have the following:
A strong background in regulatory, standardization, and quality schemes within the construction materials industry, particularly in cement, is a plus.
Understanding of industry standards related to construction materials.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with technology applications, audits, and CE-marking, as well as good insight into specifications and test methods.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful roadmap execution.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving change in the construction industry.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
