Cemvision is currently seeking a Project Lead for Regulatory & Standardization—a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy. This role will be responsible for ensuring successful product introductions to the market while advocating for and establishing new standards for cement within the regulated European market. This includes developing efficient strategies and navigating the complex process of standardization and certifications for our innovative and sustainable products.
About the role
In close collaboration with our Marketing and R&D teams, you will spearhead the roadmap and oversee product certifications. This entails coordinating crucial tasks such as defining technical specifications for various applications, organizing tests, compiling technical data, and establishing essential internal quality assurance processes to ensure alignment with required standards. Moreover, you will be responsible for overseeing audit procedures and related assignments.
Key responsibilities:
Standardization Strategy Development: Driving a comprehensive regulatory strategy concerning new standards for ultra CO2 low cement products that align with the evolving regulatory landscape in the EU market.
Regulatory Compliance Management: Stay up-to-date with all relevant EU, national, and private certification requirements and ensure that Cemvision complies with these regulations at all times. This includes obtaining necessary certifications and approvals for product introductions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry experts, representing our company and ensuring our compliance efforts are recognized and acknowledged.
Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and maintain fundamental internal quality control processes, develop and implement quality assurance and risk management protocols to guarantee product quality and consistency by each standard, and meet audit procedures.
Innovation and Sustainability Advocacy: Advocate for innovation and sustainability within the cement industry by actively participating in the development of new standards that promote environmental responsibility and product innovation.
What do you need to succeed?
To be successful, you should possess an unwavering "can-do" attitude and be resourceful. This means a lot of drive, an analytical mindset, and being highly motivated and organized.
We are seeking candidates with expertise in the concrete/construction materials industry. This includes a strong foundation in regulatory compliance, standardization, and quality assurance.
