About the role
As our Project and Grant Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting Cemvision’s R&D efforts by sourcing and securing funding to accelerate our research and development. This position combines grant management with project coordination, making it perfect for someone who is detail oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to sustainable innovation. You will work closely with our R&D and engineering teams, finance, and other internal stakeholders to drive projects funded by grants and ensure all requirements and reporting obligations are met.
Key responsibilities:
Grant management: Source, lead, and coordinate grant applications, with a focus on EU and US funding opportunities that support Cemvision’s R&D initiatives. Oversee the full grant lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to final reporting.
Project coordination: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and finance teams to support project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with grant requirements and timelines.
Stakeholder and compliance management: Build and maintain relationships with grant providers, ensuring compliance with all grant requirements, reporting deadlines, and regulatory obligations to reinforce Cemvision’s credibility as a reliable partner.
What do you need to succeed?
To thrive in this role, you need a background in grant coordination and project management, ideally within the green tech or industrial sectors. You are detail oriented, independent, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Additionally, you have:
Education and experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in grant management, especially with EU grants.
Technical and analytical skills: Proficiency in Google Sheets, financial modeling tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP), and strong analytical skills for budgeting and reporting.
Language skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish or other EU languages is advantageous.
Nice-to-have skills: Experience in financial analysis, knowledge of the green tech industry, and familiarity with managing larger technical projects.
Key competencies
Project coordination: Ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively, particularly for grant applications and reporting.
Analytical thinking: Skilled in interpreting technical data to support project and financial decisions.
Communication and documentation: Excellent writing skills for clear and persuasive grant applications and reports.
Relationship building: Skilled at building trust with internal teams and grant providers.
Problem solving: Proactive in identifying funding opportunities and overcoming challenges.
